I walked for hours
Or maybe days
Until I came
Upon a place
I’d never seen before.
‘Cross rolling hills
And shrouded moors
The time I took
I’ll never need again.
And through that door
The light it came
Upon my face
Like morning’s new born kiss.
And as I stepped
Into the new
My heart sang words
I thought I’d never hear.
Through dew I walk
Each day afresh
My heart it sings
With each new step
The words you gave to me.
