Well, it looks like Amazon have (sort of) addressed the pricing issue regarding my book of short stories ‘Consequences’.
Unfortunately they have added a link to an edition for Kindle WHICH IS NOT MY BOOK! So, if you were considering a purchase please don’t go for the e-book as (a) it’s not the same and (b) you might be disappointed (or not!).
I have updated links below.
Thank you!
Consequences.
Three tales exploring consequences; the consequences of random events, of choices and decisions made and of fate or chance.
Well done for getting it released & hope the marketing goes well! 🙂
Thanks, Tom! Not much of a marketing man though!
How large did you finally decide your paperback should look? I’ve had very limited experience on printing / trim sizes so I’ve deliberately made mine smaller than typical paperbacks & kept them around £6. What about yours?
I like an A5 as I think that they are quite easy to handle. I also go for a slightly better quality paper to avoid transparency. It does add a little, but I think that the results speak for themselves.
Good points here. Yes, I’ve found that cream-colored pages tend to look more “professional” than plain white pages which seem more transparent.
I’ve tended to go even smaller than A5 (11x18cm rather than 15x21cm) to fit in enough short stories but still make it a nice pocket-sized book to carry. Might try larger in future but it’s worked well so far!
